The pace of life continues to astound. There is much happening and you might have noticed we are dipping our toes into the world of video via YouTube, since, well, this is the second biggest content delivery mechanism on the planet. We have no idea where this will go but we have taken artistic license with the A/V logo and included Auto Vehicle as part of the experiment – and there is overlap these days with high end brands in vehicles now the norm. Think MacIntosh, Harman Kardon, JBL, Sony, Meridian, B&O, Bose, Alpine, JBL, Burmester and many more. Some get it right more than others it must be stated – but there are precious few that get it so wrong it becomes ‘un-listenable’.

How much time do you spend listening to music in your car vs your hi-fi I wonder? I suppose it depends on lifetstyle and career choices – in mine the short answer is ‘it depends’ – on what cars are in for review and how much time I have with them. But ‘serious’ listening is reserved primarily for the hi-fi stage and we have quite some kit coming your way soon. We have been promised the return of some legendary brands into our grubby paws and yours truly is very excited by this.
