This past Saturday, November 15th, saw the official launch of Cinema Architects’ new walk-in listening room, and AV News was lucky to get an official invite.
And what a treat it was! Apart from the Cinema Architects team, there were representatives from the likes of Van den Hul, Bang & Olufsen, AV Imports (representing the likes of PSB, NAD, Mission and Bluesound), Andries Oberholzer Consulting, REGA, Sky Audio (KEF, Primare, Clark Synthesis and more), Dewald Visser of Dewaudio, and Werner Schulze of Ear Candy Records.
The range of brands on display (and to listen to) was simply awesome, ranging from the Vintage (Nakamichi 1000 ZXL computing cassette deck, Revox A77 reel-to-reel, NAD 6100 cassette deck, the oh-so-famous NAD 3020 stereo integrated amplifier), all the way up to the best of the best that included the KEF Blade loudspeakers and Bluesound’s Award-Winning NODE ICON and Soundbar range, amongst many more.
Going forwards, it is Cinema Architects’ aim to have the new listening room as a place of education, listening experiences that bring new audio enthusiasts into the Hi-Fi World, and a place where like-minded individuals can be exposed to everything from quality entry-level systems, all the way up to the best that money can buy!
If you’d like to be kept up to date on talks and demos taking place at the Cinema Architects listening room, please contact them and ask to be placed on their mailing list. Contact details below.
