DIRAC LIVE BASS CONTROL NOW AVAILABLE

NAD is pleased to announce support for Dirac Live Bass Control on select NAD amplifiers with the release of BluOS version 4.16.6 on May 19, 2026. Available on all generations of the M33, M10, and C 658, Dirac Live Bass Control further expands NAD’s room correction capabilities and introduces a new upgrade opportunity for users looking for more advanced low-frequency optimization and subwoofer integration.

Dirac Live Bass Control on NAD

Dirac Live Bass Control is an advanced low-frequency optimization tool that works together with Dirac Live Room Correction. It intelligently analyzes how one or more subwoofers interact with the main speakers and listening environment, then applies correction to improve bass integration, timing, phase alignment, and consistency across the listening space.

The result is tighter, smoother, and more accurately balanced bass that integrates naturally with the main speakers while reducing boominess and minimizing seat-to-seat variation. Music and home theatre experiences benefit from greater clarity, improved realism, and deeper emotion.

For customers using one or more subwoofers, Dirac Live Bass Control provides an easier way to achieve low-frequency performance in real living spaces.
